I have a boat with Hercules Engines and Roosa Master DBGFCC 633-2DB injection pumps. Because they operate in a hot engine room, a standard rebuild on these pumps is only good for 4 years (about 500 hours)before the damper ring begins to break down making them run rough below 1000 RPM and the idle unstable. I understand there is an upgrade that replaces the plastic flex ring with an all metal design but I can't find out what to order. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate getting specific part numbers and/or a place where I can order them.
