No, I'm right handed. I get on from that side because I often carry a chain saw on the left rear corner of the deck and it is a pain to step over. It is a Stihl MS 440 with a 20" bar and I stick the bar under the back of the seat support and tie the handle of the saw around the seat base with a rubber bungee strap. This is the handiest way I have yet found to carry the saw on the tractor. When the saw is not there it is equally easy to mount from the left except that the PTO handle was there until I moved it to the center bolt a month or two ago. I just put a 3 point hitch on the H this summer and had to move the handle because it was in the way. It is not quite so easy to reach now, but it is not too bad. Zach
