Friday I went to the bank to get some money to give out to various grads this weekend. On the way home I stopped for a red light and there was a young lady (18-25) stopped in the lane next to me. She motioned for me to lower the window so I did. She said that she had ran out of gas and would I push her car to Walmart (about 1/2 mile away). I said that I would pull her car there. She was in a Grand Am. I used to drive one like it and the gas guage didn't work so I kind of had flashback. There are two gas stations on the corner where she was so I asked her why not pull into one of those? She said that she had to return some merchandise to get the money to buy gas. I said well I'll pull you into the closest one and buy enough gas for you to go on. I pulled her in and put $10 of gas in for her (3 gal). Then she started it right up and drove off. It wasn't out of gas I don't think as mine took awhile to start after running out. So I'm thinking I got scammed by this young girl. What do ya'll think?
