depends on how you go bout it. what I'm doing now not bad pay, I pick up 3 Amish roofers haul them and their tools to the job stay and help em also haul roofing supplies on a 18' trailer when needed I'm not getting rich at it but am paying the bills. I keep Fri open in case someone calls for a out of state overnight trip, they pay dam good. but the best thing is hauling a work crew to work drope em off then going back for them in the after noon they pay round 10 to $12.00 per head a day round here for a 50 mile trip if you have 12 to 14 of them you are make round $i30.00 per day for round 3 hrs work then you can also haul a load local on the same day and another that night if you can stay awake. I have only been doing it for a month or two but I starting to get some 11 and 12 hrs days. bout the same as trucking, the ones going local will bend ove backwards to help fit into your time slot.
