The JD 6615 is an economy version and is built in Mannheim Germany. The JD 7210 is a more up scale tractor and built in Waterloo,Iowa.
It all depends on what you expect the tractor to do. I sold several JD 6615. If the buyer was coming off of an older tractor like a JD 4020 he was happy. The hydraulics where faster than what he had before and the controls where easier to use. If the buyer had had a JD 7000 series and was just buying the JD 6615 because it was cheaper then he usually did not like it. The JD 6615 hydraulics are slower than the JD 7000 series. The JD 6615 has a ZF front axle it will not turn quite as short as the JD made axle in the JD 7000 series.
I personally like the JD6615 and the JD 6715. They make great tractors for livestock and hay work. They had a much simplier heating and cooling system. It actually had fewer problems that the JD 7000 series that had everything under the seat. The dirt tracked in them was sucked right into the filters and vents. The 15 series had everything it the top roof like the old SGB did. May not heat your feet as well but does not plug the filters as bad.
