Just got back from the cotton picking run and heres a few photos from the trip. We covered over 4000ac in southern Queensland & Northern New South Wales in 10 weeks. I drove the boll buggy half the trip and the picker the other half. These pics are in a dryland double skip crop where 2 rows where planted and then 2 missed. Most of what we did irrigated solid plant. This year was the biggest Australian cotton crop for sum years with most areas having full irrigation allocations and alot of dry land as well. They are already predicting next year to be as big. We made it to Cubbie Station for a couple of weeks. Its the biggest irragted cotton farm in the southern hemisphere. Yes thats me with the boll buggy tire i busterd the center out of and also had to keep an eye out for spray plans. Had a few hold ups with rain but not to bad. Next year will be interesting with a new 6 row balering picker
