This message is a reply to an archived post by Don Collison on February 05, 2011 at 08:06:37. The original subject was "Gresen 2 spool valveCast 2702".
Hey I have the same 2702 valve with a different problem. I bought a front end loader for an old international 444 and it had this valve, 2 levers , one lifting the bucket and the other tilting the bucket in both directions. My problem is the loader only had one way cylinders and I wanted down pressure. The port where this line would come out was plugged, so I thought I would just remove the plug and there would be pressure , but not the case. Even with no plug and no line screwed in, the open hole has no fluid flow when the lever is pulled. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks.
