Hello all, I've been tinkering with a Farmall Cub that has not been run a a few years. Managed to get it fired up the other day, but it wouldn't stay running. It quickly became obvious that a carb rebuild was in order. I soon discovered the throttle was also stuck. I've got it free, but the linkage going into the top of the governer in VERY stiff. I suspect the whole thing just needs to be cleaned up good and lubricated. The question is are there any special precautions I need to be aware of in removing the govener? It looks like there are only two bolts that hold it to the block. Can I just unbolt and pull it out? I plan on getting a service manual soon, but I don't have one yet. So any 'free' advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot, Skeeter
