The key is to get the stack of the expander and disks to measure .040" to .050" less than the outer case to inner surface distance when the expander is fully relaxed (balls in the lowest depth) This will require machining of the outer housing mount surface, and careful measurement with a caliper, not a ruler. The balls/ramps should be lubricated with a dry teflon (PTFE)based spray, the same for the splines. The pivot points of the links can stand a touch of the same material. TRI-Flow is one brand. A 200 grit cleanup of the friction surfaces also allows them to break in easily. Jim
