If its the cage the main clutch release bearing rides on its thicker than it looks from the front. Has a o ring squeezed between it and the main housing on the OD. Use a slide hammer or long rod with something heavy on it in the threaded hole in the front of the clutch shaft. Its 3/8 coarse thread, both shafts and the housing will come out. If the cover is off on top of the main housing, sometimes a bar can be carefully put behind the pto drive gear and the shaft pushed forward. Warning don't get the bar on the edges of the gear teeth as they're easily chipped. Learned that the hard way the first one I tried. I have a good cage if needed.
