Was wondering if you guys could give me a little advice. Last fall we put an engine kit in a d 239 engine. For probably the last 20 years as this tractor warms up the oil pressure drops farther and farther till its down to just a couple of pounds. Had to have the crankshaft reground when doing the overhaul. After the overhaul our oil pressure is a little over 40 pounds. but after a couple hours work it's back to the same couple of pounds just like before. Can anybody give some direction on what to look for that would cause this. Checked the oil tonight in the field and it seems to get pretty thin. It's 15-40 same as the other tractors we run. Also we did not put cam bearings in, as they seemed to check out ok.the water temp rides just about the middle of the gauge, theres just a bar on it no numbers. Also we get no unusual noises . Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, jstpa
