I am getting to the point I am bout ready to buy a Schwartz WFE to replace my Speeco?? WFE. I have a loader on my Farmall Diesel 504 and it is bout slap wore out. I have posted before and RF said he could sell me one.

My question is about the hubs. The Schwartz info says to use the narrow front hubs on the Schwartz axle. Mine originaly had a NFE and has this possible Speeco WFE. Would the Speeco use the OEM hubs? If so then my current hubs should fit a Schwartz. What specs or measurements could I take to make sure my hubs would fit a Schwartz? I have 6 hole, 16" rims.

Next question. It states "medium duty". Would this be ok for light loader use? It also states not to use floatation tires... Why? I plan to replace the 6.00 x 16 with 9.5L-15 or 11L-15. If steering forces are the reason, I will keep the speeds down in turns. I need more front floatation with the FEL. Surely it will not trash my new Schwartz WFE once I buy and install.

I will appriciate the info. Rusty, email me with a price and shipping to 71457, if you do not mind. Quote it for residential and for business with a loading dock. I may have it sent to work if the shipping has discount to a dock.

Some more questions. Does it come with tie rods? Upper bolster mount? Axle brace? Axle brace to frame bracket? Tie rods to steering box bracket? Nessecary hardware? Turnkey job? I think that is all :D

My axle...

Today's Featured Article - The 8N and the Fox - by Zane Sherman. Dec. 13 1998, Renfroe, Alabama. Last niht I dreamed about the day that I plowed the field of about 10 acres over on what Jimmy and Dandy called the Ledbetter field. I was driving the 1948 8N Ford tractor that Jimmy bought in 48 new This was prebably in about 1951 and maybe even befor the house was built. This would have made me to be about16 years old and I drove the tractor for nothing and would have paid to drive it if I had had any money which I didn't, but neit ... [Read Article]
