""If the tractor has a front mounted pump the bottom plate on the hydraulic housing has been changed so that oil is drawn out of the transmission through, the auxiliary filter, to the front pump. Oil is returned to the hydraulic reservoir and then flows through a stand pipe back into the transmission. Because of the stand pipe you will not be able to fill the reservoir to the bottom of the fill plug opening as the book states""
This is exactly what I have. So that means that the transission will have to be filled all the way up to the top correct? If so I gues that explains why I need somewhere between 15 and 20 gallons of fluid. I am still a little worried that fluid will come out of the vent on the top of the transmission shift plate??
