Evening Guys,
As some of you may know, I bought my '54 Super C from "TractorSam" nearly a year ago. It spent the entire winter, and a portion of the spring, in his rented garage, being worked on...among other things, we did a nearly-total engine rebuild.
Well, since I got it home, I've put some hours on it...I decided today that I was going to do the filters. I figure since it's fresh out of rebuild, and oil/filters are fairly cheap, I'd be better doing it more often then I should, just to be safe....discretion being the better part of valor, and all that...
Hit up my local NAPA today, since Sam reassured me they would have all the part numbers on record, and that I'd have no problems. Walked in, asked for what I needed, and after the guy behind the counter stopped laughing, he said that his books showed nothing for the Super-C Air Cleaner filter. He had the Cartridge oil filter in stock, and $9 later, it followed me home. But he didn't have anything listed (And thus, nothing in stock) for the air filter. The only Internationals or Farmalls he had air filter listings for were the W-series.
Does anyone happen to have a number that I could take into them and have them reference it? The filter currently in the tractor might have a number, but I don't feel like fishing around in an oily filter, looking for a number that may or may not exist.
