Just "rediscovered" a old IH tractor my father and I used around our small horse farm (mostly to pull about 10 acres of pine tree stumps out of the ground in the early 60s) many years ago. It's been sitting out in the weather (with a 1/2 oil tank "cover" over the engine area) since the early 70s. "Spiked" metal wheels, crank start, a badly deteriorated decal on the side with the date July 17, 1923. Took a picture the other day, am taking better ones and looking for the serial number this week (one tractor enthusiast said it was probably manufactured in 20s or 30s). If you'd like to see the pictures drop me an e-mail (bryheis@home.com). Curious about the background. We live in southern New Jersey (near Philadelphia PA).
