The number of couplers is irrelevant. How many LEVERS does it have? One lever, one remote.
The '06 series tractors have double hydraulic outlets for each factory remote. One set is up under the gas tank, and one is behind the tractor. The same lever controls one set up front, and one set in the rear. This is for front-mounted cultivators, which were still popular in the early 1960's.
By the late '60s, 3pt cultivators were the thing, though cultivating itself was actually becoming less popular because of modern herbicides (weed killer spray). Once through the field at high speed with the sprayer covering 50-100ft at a time killed all the weeds vs. creeping up and down the rows, 4-6 rows at a time, with a cultivator. '56 series tractors did not come with the under-gas-tank hydraulic outlets.
