First I have a 1206 (DT361) with a spun bearing. Is this fixable or is an entire overhaul recommended? Any price estimate if it is repairable? Also, I have a DT414 that I could squeeze in. Do I fix the DT361, which would cost considerably more but I've heard will last much longer, and keep the 1206 origional, or do I go the cheap route and make the DT414 fit which would be cheaper to rebuild down the road, but maybe not rack up as many hours as the DT361? I know the DT414 Doesn't just drop in, but the extra HP would be benificial, but a origional 1206 also seems to be desired. It all comes down to $$ from my veiwpoint. Any opinions would be apreciated. Also, What would putting the DT414 in a 560 involve? Might be looking at putting a DT466 in our 1066 and the DT414 into a 560 if not into the 1206. We have a few down tractors right now that would definately come in handy come spring. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any responses.
