Howdy Boys: Well, it took a while to get back on line after moving, but it's good to see the old IH forum again. I've got a Super M, stage II, and it has the hydraulic pump on the engine. Attached to that pump is another pump for the Behlen power steering. The distributor is attached to the power steering pump - final result being the distributor cap is practically jammed against the oil filter housing. I don't know how I would even give the darn thing a tune up - no room to work. Anyway, the distributor is not installed right and the #1 wire is in the #4 position on the cap; I need to turn it 180 degrees, I suppose. Does the distributor just pull out and can I rotate it 180 degrees and reinstall? Or, will something (such as a shaft extention) fall out? As always, thanks for the help. Good to be back. mike durhan
