Also- a good idea would be to drain and refill the oil in the injection pump. A large percentage of these have bad seals from the primary pump and will fill the injector pump housing with deisel. Prolonged running with diesel instead of oil or heavily dilluted oil in the pump will ruin the pump, and also if it leaks pretty bad and is never drained it could get full enough to leak past the front seal, causing the engine crankcase to get deisel in it. The injector pump uses the same oil you have in the engine.
If your pump does indeed have diesel in it, go to the Red Power site and do a search for posts by a guy called "MB_Cat" I believe. He has a post about how to replace the primary pump seal to cure this. The post has pictures as well as the IH part number for the seal. It's still available, I got one a couple years ago for my 650D.
Another note- whenever your not trying to start or run the tractor, leave the fuel switchover lever in the deisel position. If it's left in the gas position it'll run the battery down....guess how I know that???:)
