I converted my '48 C to 12 volts, now I want to get all the lights working. My original (6v) lights were missing or junk so I bought a set of (12v) repro teardrop headlights and a used (6v) rear combo light off ebay. My question is what bulbs to use in the rear light. Is the 1195 the correct 12 volt bell shaped bulb for the rear white light? what is the 12 volt replacement for the small bulb with the red jewel cover? As for the headlights, the ones I bought are already 12 volt and I think they have 1157 (dual filiment) bulbs (they aren't here right now so I can't check). Did the original headlight use a dual filiment bulb for the dim/bright or was it a single filiment bulb and the dim/bright function was done by the resistance coil in the switch? If it was a dual filiment bulb, is there a bell shaped 12 volt bulb? sorry this got a bit long - really appreciate all the help I get from this site
