Well to start with i would say that ya need to work on the shift linkage from the shifter all the way down to the range transmission cover and repair replace any woren parts . If this does not fix the problem then one must go deeper in . The rev. shifter and gear can be checked by removing the side cover on the rearend behind the left steep , if the trans mission oil level is where it should be and not over full then when you remove the cliped coner cover you will only lose about a gallon and a half of Hyd oil . Sometimes on of the ends on the shifter fork breaks off and this will allow it not to stay in gear. Also if ya have to remove the range transmission cove this cover must come off also . As for the park lock if it is the old style of over center NOW is the time to upgrade to a spring loaded park lock , kits can bought from Case I H .
