Hi Jim , I have read about that and I agree with your first paragragh but need to add that the reduction in global plant life is also a factor . But I still maintain that our technology hasn't had a major impact on the weather in the last 100 years . There was more smoke and ash from Mt. St. Helens than there was smog from Los Angeles and Detroit from 1935 to 1990 . Of course these numbers are my own and aren't backed by science because I don't have government grant money . My point is that just because the gov issues a group a lot of money that what they have to say is taken seriously no matter what their qualifications . You know as well as anyone the statistics can be made to qualify anything the statistition wants them to . Greenpiece was the best at screwing up the truth . We , as a nation , believe what we want to and that doesn't always mean that we believe the truth . The issue of the environment is more emotional than intellectual . JMHO ...Randy
