We also have an 806 Farmall Diesel, from what I've read on this site, and other places the 806 is one of the most durable tractors I.H. ever built. I have read in the archives on this site that you never want to run it low on hydraulic fluid, or you could end up with a pile of scrap. The whining is pretty common with these, as far as I know shouldn't be anything to worry about. I don't know about the needle bearing pieces you found though. They don't always shift the smoothest either. Check out the archives on this site about this tractor. It is quite a step up from a Super H. Have fun!!!!
