Pulling Question: S M v. SMTA Pulling Power

Given all other things equal on these two tractors, and someone had a spare SMTA to turn into a puller, does the SMTA gearing give it an advantage over the Super M, or are the first gear ratios the same on both? Would anything else give one the advantage over the other, again assumimg both tractors are factory stock?
