I'd like to switch to 5W30 in my 424 diesel for cold weather. The Starter grinds a bit before engaging and but doesn't in summer. When I bought the tractor the owner said he just had an engine job done on it, so I figure the engine's still a bit tight. Could I use 5W30 in cold weather and switch back to straight 30 in summer? Thanks
