Phil's ( my son) 1206 hasn't idled right since he rebuilt it. He bought it as a basket case that had been ran out of oil. He has over 4000 in the motor including rebuilt fuel pump & injectors. It lopes at idle I kept thinking it was out of time We even pulled the motor out of the frame & removed the front cover to check it. last spring when we put the new clutch & torque in. As soon as you give it some throttle it smoothes out.Several people we've talked to have said change the injectors again. Wednesday afternoon he was drilling with it & no. 1 injector line started leaking at the pump. The line was cracked. He got another line & started it. It runs 80% better than it ever has.It is not perfect yet . Now my question is do we go ahead & change all the other lines hoping to get it straightened out? I never would have believed it was a line anyone ever heard of that?
