F-450 TA linkage

I'm starting into a 450 renovation and today notice the TA lever don't seem to be connected to anything. The squeeze latch works and the lever moves back & forth, but I see no linkage to the area up behind the clutch. Is it inside or has it been removed? Project comments are invited. Thanks, Hank
