Just picked up a excellent 350 on auction on Sat that was represented as having a new TA put in a few years ago. During the auction I actually moved the tractor back and forth in both positions. I did not drive the tractor on the trailer but when I got it home I took it for a spin around the block and lo and behold low range is out. Question is Can TA be misadjusted so low range is out and conversly can A TA be made operable just by readjusting the linkage and what is the procedure. I dont want to raise cain with the auctioneer until I know for sure this is a real problem.
