I just got the head off my super M that I recently brought home. Boy is it sad. The motor was apparently rebuilt just before the original owner died and it got parked in the barn then sold and left outside for years. The muffler was gone and manifold busted and water got in them brand new cylinders. POOR THING! Anyway, this tractor is propane. I am gonna make it gas. Should I do firecrators or can I use them with this head. I"m not sure of the head serial number. These piston are a flat raised top with a step on one side. I am gonna have to get new piston and cylinder assemblies thanks to the rust but thankfully everything else is fine. Well, I need to get the radiator recored too. I don"t like all the old repairs on it. It holds though and was full of antifreeze. Any other suggestions anyone has for converting back to gas would be greatly appreciated.
