I am thinking of buying either an Allis-Chalmers WD45 or a Farmall M. I have more experience with A-Cs than Farmalls, but would be willing to get an M. From what I know, both tractors can pull about the same load, especially when a WD45 is using a mounted implement. The only drawback I have about the M is that it doesnt have hydraulics or a live pto. The WD45 also weighs about half as much as an M. I also feel that the center of gravity is high for any hillside work and getting it into the barn I use for tractors might be tricky. What would you suggest?
