If your 2404 is a utility style tractor, you may need to find the hitch from a 240 or 404 utility because it's closer to the ground and I assume the geometry of the hitch may be a little different to get proper implement height? If it's a row crop, be aware that there are two styles of fast hitch: The Super C and 200 use the touch control rockshaft arms to control side to side and fore/aft tilt, and has it's own main lift rockshaft that mounts through the seat box; the 230 and 240 don't have the touch control arms and have various attempts at draft sensing, don't have the rockshaft through the seat box, and this later style hitch requires a forward mount point that is only cast under the tranny on later tractors (230 and later). Summerized, if yours is a utility I'd look for a utility style hitch (240 or 404); if a row crop, I don't think the early (Super C or 200) style hitch will fit because of the lower operator position that doesn't have the seat box (and possibly the clearance needed for the main rockshaft), but you might look at a 230 or 240 hitch.
