Sounds like the seal at the front of the transmission is leaking. There is a shaft seal there, as well as a cap with a gasket over the end of the countershaft and bearing. Also, dowell pins. I had a leak like this on my C and one of the dowell pins was missing and the hole was all the way through into the transmission. Also, there was no gasket on the cover over the counershaft bearing. To repair this, you will have to split the tractor just in front of the transmission. This is not a real hard job, as when you get all the external things off, support the front and the back, and when you take out the 4 bolts there, the drive shaft will slide right out of the clutch. Replace the bolts with longer ones to make it easier to support, etc. You can roll the back part back on the rear wheels. Make sure the front is well blocked and use a shop crane or something similar on the back part. Make sure the clutch remains engaged while the driveshaft is out of it. If disengaged while the shaft is out, the plate will not be aligned anymore and you won't be able to get it back together.
