Since you are taking the axle off the tractor, you can try what my neighbor did for an Oliver front end that was stuck. Build a nice sized bonfire, when you have a big enough pile of red hot coals... lay the bolster and arms in the pile of coals and cover it up with more coals. Let the fire burn out completely and wait for the casting to cool completely. The extentions should be freed up in the bolster! The heat from the fire seems to disolve the rust in between the extension and bolster. Works great! I sure would not try to force the extensions to move by pulling on them or smacking them with a sledge. {JMO}
