Hi Ken, Hmmmm, I don't know about that. Don't you think your friend might be elaborating just a little? Maybe his compression gauge is off or something; it usually takes a compression ratio of around 11:1 to get those kinds of readings. 200lbs is pretty stout. I would also question his horsepower. In reality, I'll bet it is more like 27 to 30 if it were measured at that drawbar. But, I've been wrong a thousand times before and am the first to admit it. Have a good one, Allan
