i dont think there'd be a problem modifying the manifolds, might be something else on the hood though. Don't see why it wouldn't work, other than doesn't the carb rely on gravity and vacuum to move the gas from the jets? Might be able to do some fab and get fuel pump and a holley or something on there but then the manifold would be the limiting factor in moving the fuel in.
