Freddie: The first question that comes to my mind is "what do you plan on doing with it?" Comments such as "underpowered" (while appropriate if not meant sarcastically) are very relative. IH made (well) over 100,000 of these tractors, which means that somebody found them useful for something! If you're planning on on doing yard work, light grading or (snow) plowing, or light field work such as light plowing, harrowing, discing or cultivating, the Cub is plenty of tractor for you. If you're planning on pulling a 10-bottom plow, step up to something a bit larger.... I use my '58 Cub for running a 5' finish mower, and pulling around the usual assortment of things that need pulling, such as a wagon, yard roller, small disc harrow, yard leveller (old box spring with weights) and similar implements. I LOVE the tractor, and it's the first one I hop on when I want to get in some "seat time" for stress relief.
