He about said it all but I got a couple suggestions. If you used aftermarket valve springs, guides or anything else check for coil bind or interferance at the top of the guide. I originaly got my parts at napa and I tell you I took it all back except the valve guides. None of it was right. I looked for myself in their book and it was right parts for the engine but they sure weren't right! Also I have used felpro headgaskets now on three c's and super c'c and all of them leaked till I went back and put on a IH head gasket.
