I know it has been a few years (18 now) since I worked as a mechanic in a repair shop. But generally speaking, most all 6 cylinder engines have a firing order of 1,5,3,6,2,4. I would find the # 1 on the distributor cap and go with it from there. Hope this helps you out with your problem. later days mate, Jim in NM again
