Since you've got the head off, take a few valve springs off and try to wiggle the valves in the guides. If you get any side to side movement, the guides are worn. That could be the biggest problem with your oil consumption. I don't know what the compression should be, 105 might be a little low. You might be better off to get the valves ground and guides replaced since you are already into it this far.
