Will- I have never owned a 424, been around a couple in the shop and other tractors in that series. By loading tires I assume you mean fluid. Most of the ag tractors around here used fluid and it was not enough,these tractors are very light over the rear wheels. My dad had a 674 on the farm with fluid and wheel weights,it still spun like crazy. His old 340 was a much better tractor for loader work even though it had much less HP. If he wanted to use the loader to dig a hole he would pick up a round bale or hang suitcase weights thru the 3 pt.There's no way around the traction problem that I know of other than adding weight in some form to hold the rear end down. With common sense you won't hurt it.
