I have been offered a 1936 W-40 the seller tells me it has a red diamond engine installed,my first reaction was to pass on it as from what little knowledge I have I am assuming that this is a non original engine from a truck or other application, is this correct or was a red diamond a standard fit to later year W-40s. I am tempted to buy it but not if its too far from original.I seek your best opinion. thank you.
