Farmall BN restoration

I am attempting to restart a '47 BN that hasn't been run in 28 years. I pulled the valve cover and lubed the valve stems, pulled the plugs and injected some gas/oil mixture, changed the oil and fuel. Handcranking the engine seems to turn over OK. Any other advice before I slap a battery into her and give it a try? Also, any advice regarding type of crankcase oil to use. The manual only specifies SAE 30. How about High-detergent, etc?
