I'm getting ready to do the brakes put a new seal behind my left brake cover (it leaks badly and the brakes do not work on this machine). I had the cover off that houses all of the discs and actuator mechanism but the back plate of the cover that the disc presses against didn't come off when I pulled the cover off. It is the big round plate that looks like it is just stuck to the transmission housing. The 5 bolts that go through the cover go through this plate but there are no other bolts holding it on. Is this what I have read in the archives that you just use a prybar or screw driver and pry it off and the seal is behind it. I don't want to break anything and just wondered if anyone could tell me. The tractor is a Farmall 560. thanks so much.
