Well first off is it a gasser or a diesel ??? , As others have said check the easy stuff first . Mowen hay can plug the fins on the rad. pull the grill and with compressed air blow out from back to ft. from top to bottom .Mkae sure that your fan belt is tight . as for the thermostat ????? don't know for sure here as i am not there to check . If it is a diesel ya may have some seirous problems . like a cracked head or block . this can be checked with out pulling the engine down and works on both gas and diesel . Here is who ya do that , first drain the cooling system down till ya can remove the thermostat and housing remove the fan belts so the water pump does not turn make sure that the engine is cold with the coolant level at the top of the mounting face of the thermostat start the engine and rev the engine if she pushes coolant out the littel darling have internal injurys if no coolant pushes out then it is either the water pump the thermostat or rad.. It's like going to school do the easy stuff first them move on to 2nd. grade and so on.
