Sounds just like the problem I had last summer. Took the carb to one shop and they got a kit and but it all in there but still had the same problem. Took it to another place and the cleaned it out in carb cleaner again and put it back together. Still had the same drip. Bought a float and had it cleaned for the third time, still dripped. Then I was at the farm one day and the guy that works for me called and said the gas was dripping out bad. I had moved it outside and didnt turn off the gas valve. Got back to the store and sure enough it was a a good drip, almost stream, comming out of it. I bit the bullet and bought a new carb from here at YT. It doesnt drip! I had gotten in the habit of turning the gas off so I still do it just to be safe. I let the guy that works for me read your post. He started laughing and said that sounded just like me.
