Reuse sleeve and crank bearings?

The money is getting tight, but I still have to tinker so I was thinking about combining 2 old Farmall B engines to make one good one. Would it be ok to reuse sleeve and crank/rod bearing? I plan on measuring the bores and crank journals. But I don't know how to tell if the bearings are ok. What about the rubber o-rings if I reuse the sleeves. Anyone have any lessons learned on this?
