As suggested I took the starter from my Super C in to be rebuilt. A sidelight of this is that it allowed me to access the flywheel so I could line up a distributor cam lobe to gap the points. When I pulled the starter I noticed that the teeth on the starter gear and on the fly wheel were a little chewed. When I get the starter back those teeth will be new. Is that going to be a problem with the existing wear on the fly wheel teeth? If so, what are my options?
