Hi, in my previous post I was informed that 60psi was on the low side for compression on my 47 A (should be around 90-120psi). My first question is could part of the low compression be due to the fact that I was turning the engine over by hand (with the hand crank)? I don't see where it would have a drastic effect, but I'm still curious. The second is if the pistons and Sleeves look like they're in good shape (which I suspect they are) would rings and a hand lap valve job, or having them refaced be a sound solution? Right now the tractor runs quite smooth, and doesn't smoke, so I think it just needs to be tightened up. Thanks for your feedback, Matt PS, where can I find the IT Shop Manual for my A online?
