Paint prep and color questions. MF230 tractor

I just finished fixing a rusted out valve stem hole on a MF 230. The stem got broken off while bush hogging. I have cleaned it back to bare metal inside and out, and wanted to ask if there was anything special I needed to do since there was calcium chloride solution all over the rim( inside and out). The paint on the inside of the rim seemed to just smear when I wire wheeled it but eventually got it off.
It was in pretty good shape except around the valve stem area, I plan to wash it down again, check for areas that still need attention with wire wheel, treat deep rusted areas with must for rust. Wipe down with wax and grease remover then epoxy prime and paint
I could use some help on what color it needs to be. It was a light gray, lighter than the engine, transmission and rear end. Both the rim and center hub looked to be the same color.
This is a working tractor. I am new to painting and I am using this opportunity to develop skills I will need on my Ford 8n restoration project that I hope to paint next year,so any help would be appreciated.

Calcium chloride is a salt often used to melt ice on sidewalks and very corrosive. Since the wheel has been exposed to it, it should be treated with a vinegar solution, 4 cups vinegar to gal water to neutralize it. Then wash the wheel with soap and water and let dry. It would be a good idea to coat the rusted areas with a rust converter such as POR-15 and then paint as you said. If you are going to continue to use calcium chloride it would be better to put a tube in the tire. I"m sorry but I can"t help you with the paint colors.
