Dream Come True | IN AN EARLIER STORYI TOLD OF WORKING O A FARM AS A YOUNGSTER, DRIVING SMALLER TRACTORS, BUT NOT GETTING TO DRIVE THE 'M', S AND SUPER 'M', S THAT THE FARMER HAD, AS HE THOUGHT I WAS TOO SMALL TO HANDLE THEM. I GUESS I WAS ABOUT TWELVE OR THIRTEEN AT THE TIME. WELL, I TURNED 62 LAST YEAR AFTER PUTTING IN ABOUT 45 YEARS WORKING IN MAINTENANCE. REMEMBERING HOW I LIKED THE BIG RED FARMLLS AS A KID, I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT TWO 'M', S. ONE NARROW FRONT AND ONE WIDE FRONT. THAT WAS IN DECEMBER OF THIS YEAR. I HAVE COMPLEATED RESTORING THE NARROW FRONT TRACTOR AND AM PUTTING ON THE FINISHING TOUCHES ON THE OTHER ONE. SHOULD BE FINISHED BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH. I HAVE REALLY BEEN ENJOYING SEEING THESE OLD TRACTORS COME BACK TO LIFE. BEEN GOING TO SOME SHOWS AND ENTERING SOME OF THE ANTIQUE PULLING CONTESTS. MEETING A LOT OF NICE FOLKS AND SEEING A LOT OF OLD TRACTORS THAT FOLKS HAVE PUT A LOT OF HARD WORK INTO. IF YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING WHAT I, M GOING TO DO AFTER COMPLEATING THE ONE I, M WORKING ON NOW? I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A SUPER 'M' TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION.
